Requirements for GP Practices
System Requirements
- PC with 2 GHz Processor & 1 GB RAM.
- An Internet connection. Broadband is not necessary but will achieve faster performance.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 onwards, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Chrome.
- An email address where we can send your browser certificate.
- Up-to-date anti-virus software.
User Requirements
- Working knowledge of PCs.
- A Medical Council Number for each GP.
- Each GP in the practice must be registered with us - register new GPs as soon as they join the practice and let us know if anyone leaves so we can close their account.
Data Protection Registration
Practices must be registered with the Data Protection Commissioner. Click here to register online. Please note you are required to renew your registration annually.
